Mike Madsen established his seed dealership in 2001, with the goal of helping area growers access the best seed to improve their business while maximizing yields and income potential. Since 2001, Mike has grown his business, with the support of his wife, Diana, and three kids, Sarah, Andrew, and Matt. At various times, you will find the family helping with the operation, whether moving and loading seed or picking up empty boxes after planting, our motto is that we are all in this together.
In 2015, Mike expanded his business portfolio to include seed treatment opportunities to enhance the vigor and growth of the seed, thereby increasing the income potential of each bag of seed. Madsen Seed provides on-site treatment that enables both early season and in-season treatment on all in-house and competitive seed products.
Today, Mike offers a robust lineup of seed varieties to meet the evolving needs of growers, with genetic options and chemistries that are necessary for today’s crop environment. Mike will work with you to build a plan around your yields and profitability goals.
